  1. [required] Serving Skills: LIFT - palm flat and facing up, ball stays on hand until contact
  2. [required] Serving Skills: Step – small, natural step with opposite foot (right-handers: step with left) taken as arm begins backward motion
  3. [required] Serving Skills : Hand Contact - contact with closed fist under ball
  4. [required] Setting Skills : Hand position on ball - form a triangle on ball with thumbs and index fingers, then spread apart so that hands wrap around sides of ball
  5. [required] Setting Skills: Ball contact - hands should be up at forehead when contacting ball , ALWAYS set from near the forehead
  6. [required] Passing Skills: Base - feet at least shoulder width or a bit wider. bend at knees, not at waist to keep body and platform beneath the ball
  7. [required] Passing Skills: Shuffle to ball - in moving to where the ball is, shuffle your feet, keeping knees bent and hips/head in a straight, vertical line

    Students will cook several recipes learning to calculate the cost of a meal after following a recipe

  • Kickball Club

    Students will learn skills and rules needed to play kickball. Students will be expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and work collaboratively with their team.

  • Culinary (Phase I) Calculating nutritional content of a recipe

    Students will cook following several different types of recipes learning to complete the math necessary to figure out the nutritional content of a recipe by using the food nutrition calculator
